I am a commercially savvy leader and I like to get things growing by combining brand development, scaling products in international markets and collaborative leadership like I did for Danish Crown, MFA, Arla & Tulip.

I boost results through new concepts (Burger Boost), market access (China) and high team engagement (85), I lead with integrity, clear goals and a “go-do” mindset.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in making strategies become tangible assets across Europe (Denmark, Germany, Italy, Greece) and Asia (China, Hong Kong).

The boss who include me in his/her team will add a collaborative, energetic leader who builds momentum, strengthens teams, and delivers sustainable, customer-centered business results (within retail, food service, FMCG).

The creation of burger boost..

…and several other food concepts and brands.

I feel particularly proud of the invention of burger boost. It was a brand that we build from scratch in 2020 and the first strong brand (37% consumer awareness) in beefburgers in Denmark. The team and I worked hard to be on top of demand creation and scaling of the brand internationally. And customers were extremely positive and involving. 2 times in my career have I been part of a very successful product launch that generated 9 digit numbers in DKK-turnover. Boost in Denmark and Gourmetti in Germany. I simply love to be part of something significant that changes the market.

Make it stand out by reducing complexity..

If you want to grow your business you have to stand out. It’s not really deeply rooted in the Danish culture but then again my team and I operated in Europe and Asia. Whether emotional benefits or functional attributes you only have one chance to convince your customer and one second to pursuade the consumer that your product and brand will become the “next big thing”. The route for me has been through demand creation and reducing marketing complexity. Getting your priorities right and defining the right time to launch, spend your budget and earn your profit is an art.

MY leadership values..

I give the team freedom to do the job independently and to unfold your own ideas. It creates a whole different commitment and assumes responsibility. I think that everyone have something to contribute with to any challenge. If you make an effort I find a positive outcome and praise it no matter the size of the result. Because you have to grow your skills to be able to take an even bigger challenge next. Thats what develops talent and grows business.

  • Collaboration start with trust in each other. To work closely together and take advantage of synergies in a team. Trust is the basic feeling that must be present. To build trust be curious.

  • Small and great efforts must be acknowledged. If we cheer each other it’s visible where important skills are hidden.

  • Take responsibility for yourself and what you do. Be aware of how your own actions might change things for others and your surroundings

  • Learn from your experience, gain knowledge from what you see and develop a platform to grow as a person. Grow with integrity.

For me it’s rewarding..

During my career I have found it particularly rewarding to work with young professionals. Early in my own career I myself had the priviledge of executives that helped me developing a career.

Since then I have dedicated part of my spare time to mentoring young professionals. To help them with assignments, professional challenges or advice. I even employed some for a period to give them the opportunity to gain experience and build their skills.

Not only do I sit back with the feeling that I gave something back to society and the next generation but I also used the curious talks with students or graduates (political and commercial masters) to strengthen my cultural awareness and leadership.
